I was so honored and excited when the lovely editors at Grub Street — New York Magazine’s food and restaurant blog — asked me to be a part of this feature. I’m a huge fan of theirs and love reading what people eat each week. So I kept track of every meal — from Valentine’s Day at Red Rooster to cooking dinner at home this past Wednesday night — and reported back to them. Check out the full feature here.

It was really fascinating/horrifying to write down everything I ate, but it was fun too. I actually ate less than I otherwise would have — which explains Brian losing all that weight three years ago through tweeting his diet. It holds you accountable! I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think more about where/what we were eating all week — but this is who we are, in all our Goop-approved shakes/granola glory.

Oh, and since a lot of people have asked me about the chinese herbal tea I reference in the piece, that I get from my acupuncturist for my rheumatoid arthritis — I am going to post his info and the whole story behind it on here later.
