I am 30 and have the same disease. I think the psychological suffering is sometimes worst than the physical one. I spent my whole life looking at my mother being unable to walk and feared I would have ended up the same way, and I know you imagine the breakdown I had when I discovered the disease in my bones. All the doctors and therapists I’m seeing are saying medicine got better and that there will be soon a solution for my knees but of course I’m freaking out anyway. I will try to avoid meat and dairy, even if it means I will have to adapt to a new lifestyle (I’m Italian, for me it’s hard to understand the vegan way! 😉 )
